Butterflies and Bees

Last Thursday and Friday I took half days went to the zoo and the Museum of Art

 This beautiful butterfly stayed on this fern/palm leaf and let me take photo after photo of it. Top and bottom are 2 of my favorites

 This bee flew into the frame just as I started pressing on the shutter.  Pretty excited I caught so much wing detail!

 Monarch butterflies- beautiful, just beautiful. I haven't seen many butterflies this year but the ones I have seen are gorgeous, like this one!
