 Some of my favorites from the 2015 family reunion in Flagstaff and Northern AZ. Monument Valley Tribal Park is a place I have not been since the mid 1990's....it did not disappoint! The black and white photo above the view from the lodge/building inside the park just before the 17 mile trail. The left and right mittens and elephant buttes. Elephant Butte, I believe. Gnarly little tree.  Me, at Artist Point  Mostly clear blue sky, hot but not horribly so day = cool shadows,  going for perspective with this one.  Sahm Park, the snow was falling, it was pretty.  The sound of snow falling is beautiful and relaxing :)  You can sort of see the snow falling in the background Guessing it was around 7 to 8 inches...

 Another great day walking around in fresh powdery snow taking pictures  The sun was starting to come out, half way through my trip to Fort Harrison State Park  Frozen pond  snowy rocks......always make me think of "the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross"  frozen-ness  frozen-ness  Geist Park. untouched snow, beautiful sky, brilliant shadows
